But that's to be unfortunately to be expected since most of the sequel isn't that good and it seems to degrade all of the characters in the original. I heard that the current volume (from a person from tumblr) said, that Eiri is still bawing about his past. Hey, Murakami! Didn't Yuki come to terms with his past in the original series toward the end. *sighs*

Hopefully Murakami will bounce back with continuing Kanpai! but I'm not so sure. The future is seeming bleak Murakami fans.
